Armenia to bounce 38 spots in FIFA Ranking after Montenegro defeat

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is set to jump 38 spots in the FIFA World Ranking after it trailed 3-2 against Montenegroin World Cup 2018 qualifying.

The victory saw Armenia move above Kazakstan, but stay behind Montenegro who remain top with seven points.

Also among the best movers will be Israel (25 spots) and Tahiti (23 spots).

As of October 20, Armenia holds the 125th position with 270 points overall in FIFA's ranking, while the projected results will put the country on the 87th spot with a total score of 412.

Armenia will thus outpace Azerbaijan (90th) and Georgia (119th).

FIFA will publish the ranking on November 24.
