Lara Croft to search for her father in Alicia Vikander’s “Tomb Raider” rebootNovember 23, 2016 - 10:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The plot of the untitled Tomb Raider reboot is unveiled, AceShowbiz said. In a chat with HeyUGuys, producer Graham King reveals that it will focus on young Lara Croft and she will be searching for her father, Richard James Croft. "Well this is kind of what we call a 'back to the roots story,' " he says. "This is a young Lara Croft in search to see if her father is dead or alive, so it has a very emotional part to it," he continues. "I think that's what Alicia found so interesting about it. I think the storytelling is really good and I think we've got the right crew and a great director and I think it's going to be really fun making a film like this." Alicia Vikander will play the heroine originally played by Angelina Jolie in the two previous movie installments. Roar Uthaug will sit behind the lens. The remake is scheduled to arrive in the United States on March 16, 2018. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
