Armenia Prime Minister, Defense chief seek ruling RPA membership![]() November 24, 2016 - 12:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Thursday, November 24 opened the Cabinet session declaring his intention to join Armenia's ruling Republic Party (RPA). Karapetyan said he has already submitted an application. Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan has also expressed a wish to join the RPA. The ruling party's 16th convention is slated for November 26, set to tackle the officials' membership bids. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
