Ex-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher’s debut solo performance announced

PanARMENIAN.Net - Details of Liam Gallagher‘s debut solo performance have been revealed, NME reports.

The former Oasis frontman announced back in August that he is set to release a solo album next year, saying that he will “probably fuck off forever” if the record fails.

Gallagher had previously denied reports that he was releasing a solo album, saying that he wouldn’t do so because he’s “not a c*nt”. He later tweeted: “It’s official, I’m a c*nt”.

Music Week now reports that Gallagher will perform a Give a Gig Week show for music charity Youth Music at London’s Bush Hall on March 28, 2017, as part of a bill that also includes Jess Glynne, Tom Odell and Plan B.

Give a Gig Week runs next year from March 24-31, held at London venues such as Bush Hall, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Bedford, The Roundhouse and Hard Rock Café.

Mat Whitecross, the director behind the Oasis Supersonic documentary, recently revealed that he has heard Liam’s solo material and that it sounds like The Velvet Underground.

Despite his solo plans, Liam remains open to an Oasis reunion. Bookies have suspended betting on Oasis reforming in 2017, as talk of the band getting back together continues to gather momentum. Ride have reportedly been booked to support the band next year, however they later denied this.
