New look at Elizabeth Banks' Rita Repulsa in “Power Rangers” movie

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two new photos of Saban's "Power Rangers" movie have landed online. Making their way out through the movie's official Facebook account, the images offer fans new look at Elizabeth Banks who can be seen in full costume as the villainous alien witch Rita Repulsa, AceShowbiz said.

One image which also features her ornate staff is captioned with, "After eons locked away... I'm FREE! I have plans for your pitiful planet." The caption of the other #RepulsaTakesOver picture reads, "65 million years later and I'm still devastatingly attractive. 'Killin it,' you say? You have no idea how right you are..."

"Power Rangers" is coming to U.S. theaters on March 24, 2017. In addition to Banks, the movie stars Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger and Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger. Other cast members include Bryan Cranston and Bill Hader, who will portray Zordon and provide the voice of Alpha 5 respectively.

The film follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, the heroes discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet, but to do so they have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers.
