Tom Hanks, Emma Watson thriller “The Circle” unveils 1st teaser trailer (video) December 7, 2016 - 16:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - EuropaCorp has released the first teaser trailer for Emma Watson and Tom Hanks-led thriller "The Circle", AceShowbiz said. Making its way out via USA Today, the over-two-minute video sees Watson as a newly-recruited employee named Mae Holland in the titular social media company founded by Hanks' Bailey. "At the Circle, the possibilities are endless," Bailey delivers his speech in front of his employees. "Because knowing is good, but knowing everything is better." Among the crowd is Mae, who is seen being afraid of the "transparency" of the company as she listens to his speech. One scene shows her becoming a celebrity of the company and interacting with other co-workers through an "eye ball-like" camera called SeeChange. She is seen screaming after she seemingly realizes that letting others know about all of her personal information through the device is dangerous. Directed by James Ponsoldt, "The Circle" follows Mae Holland who lands her dream job at a powerful tech company called the Circle, where she becomes involved with a mysterious man. It's based on 2013's international best-selling novel of the same name by Dave Eggers. Also starring John Boyega, Karen Gillan, Patton Oswalt, Ellar Coltrane and Bill Paxton, the sci-fi thriller is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on April 28, 2017.
