Shared by a fan on Twitter, it features Idris Elba as Roland Deschain who can be seen staring down at Matthew McConaughey's Man in Black, AceShowbiz said. Directed by Nikolaj Arcel from a script co-written by Anders Thomas Jensen, Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinkner, "The Dark Tower" follows gunslinger Roland Deschain who roams an Old West-like landscape in search of the dark tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve his dying world. The upcoming fantasy thriller also stars young actor Tom Taylor as Jake Chamber, a boy who aids the gunslinger in his journey in the Mid-World, and Jackie Earle Haley as the fearsome vampire leader Richard Sayre. Other cast members include Katheryn Winnick, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Michael Barbieri and Fran Kranz. "The Dark Tower" will arrive in U.S. theaters on July 28, 2017.
