2016 Black List scripts revealed with Madonna bio “Blond Ambition” at No. 1December 13, 2016 - 13:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 2016 Black List, a collection of Hollywood's best unproduced screenplays, was announced Monday, December 12. This year, 73 scripts were singled out, The Hollywood Reporter said. The list, which has been published every year since 2005, features the "most liked" scripts, as voted on by more than 250 film executives. The prestigious list has included many films that went on to become awards contenders once produced, including last year's Oscar best picture winner Spotlight. Current awards contenders Arrival, Hell or High Water and Manchester by the Sea were all on the list in previous years. Blond Ambition by Elyse Hollander topped the list with 48 votes. The film follows Madonna in 1980s New York as she tries to get her album released in a music industry which views women as disposable. Those included on this list were announced one at a time via Twitter videos featuring notable directors, writers and actors.
