Zlatan Ibrahimovic says Henrikh Mkhitaryan is dominating his position

PanARMENIAN.Net - Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes Henrikh Mkhitaryan is just starting to show the world his true quality at Manchester United, The Express reports.

Mkhitaryan has been in excellent form for Manchester United in their last four games - scoring two and setting up two.

But the Armenia international was injured in the win over Tottenham on Sunday, December 11 meaning he will be out for the next few weeks.

Ibrahimovic has been United's main source of goals this season, scoring eight in 14 games, but his side have struggled to close the gap to the top four this season.

Mkhitaryan's winner against Tottenham could prove crucial in their hunt for Champions League football next season and Ibrahimovic wants the midfielder back as soon as possible.

"He scored a fantastic goal in Ukraine, today he scored a great goal," Ibrahimovic told MUTV on Sunday.

"He’s dominating in his role. We’re happy for him.

"Hopefully the injury is not so bad as it looked like.

"He’s important for us, that’s why United bought him and that’s why the coach brought him, because they know his quality, we know his quality, we see it every day, and the world gets to see his quality now.

"I’m super happy for him."
