"Sherlock" season 4 unveils international trailer

PanARMENIAN.Net - An international trailer for "Sherlock" season 4 has landed online. While the official version of the video has not been released by BBC or PBS, the bootleg version is still available on the internet, teasing an intense new season of the British crime drama series, AceShowbiz said.

An image of Sherlock's presumed dead nemesis Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) flashes as the new big bad Culverton Smith (Toby Jones) shows his crazy laughter. The titular detective is seemingly pushed to the limit as he's seen screaming in anger or agony while standing on what looks like a ledge.

The trailer additionally hints at a conflict between Sherlock and his loyal companion Dr. John Watson (Martin Freeman) as the latter punches Sherlock in another scene. Someone is attacking Sherlock and the video ends with a bullet flying towards the eccentric detective.

The fourth season of the Emmy-winning drama will once again be comprised of three episodes which promise "laughter, tears, shocks, surprises and extraordinary cases." It will see John and Mary preparing "for their biggest ever challenge - becoming parents for the first time."

The first episode titled "The Six Thatchers" will air January 1, 2017 on PBS Masterpiece, the same date it airs across the pond. The season finale, "The Final Problem", will be screened in 350 cinemas nationwide on January 16 and 18.
