Mourinho confirms Mkhitaryan fit for United’s clash with Sunderland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Manchester United have been boosted by the return of Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan ahead of the side’s clash with Sunderland on Boxing Day, The Metro revealed.

Jose Mourinho’s men welcome David Moyes back to Old Trafford for the first time since the Scot was sacked at the Theatre of Dreams in 2014.

Bailly, 22, sustained a knee injury against Crystal Palace after making his first start for the club in six weeks.

Mkhitaryan, 27, had been in great form but injured his ankle during a tackle with Danny Rose after the Armenian scored the only goal in a 1-0 win earlier this month.

United have closed the gap on the top four in the last fortnight and Mourinho confirmed today that Luke Shaw remains the club’s only injury ahead of their clash with the Black Cats.

‘The squad is looking good. Even Luke Shaw’s injury is coming to an end,’ said Mourinho.

According to media reports, the club are looking for a substitute for Bruma, a Portuguese winger who will soon depart the Istanbul team.
"We will use video refereeing at the 2018 World Cup because we've had nothing but positive results so far," he said.
A report claimed that Joachim Low has been tipped to replace Zidane, who took over from Rafael Benitez last season.
This took the Armenian's tally to 5.0/6, a full 1.5 points ahead, providing him an early victory in the German-hosted tournament.
