Disney rolls out extended sneak peek for

PanARMENIAN.Net - Disney has released an extended sneak peek at "Cars 3" for fans' viewing pleasure. While the animated flick's lead character, hotshot racecar Lightning McQueen, was seen getting into a brutal car crash in the previous brief teasers, the one-and-a-half-minute video shows him striking back into the game, AceShowbiz said.

"It's not over until the lightning strikes," reads the text accompanying the video. "You will never be the racer you once were. Accept it," a voiceover says. "You'll never be as fast, but you can be smarter." McQueen has no plan to back down as he's ready to compete in the Piston Cup. "I decide when I'm done," he says, "I'm coming for you, Storm," referring to much younger rival Jackson Storm.

The third installment of "Cars" movie series will follow McQueen as he is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns.

The movie sees the return of Owen Wilson as the voice of the red-and-yellow car race champion. Larry the Cable Guy is also back as his loyal sidekick Mater. Bonnie Hunt and Cheech Marin will once again lend their voices to Sally and Ramon respectively. Additionally, Armie Hammer and Cristela Alonzo will provide the voices of Storm and Ramirez respectively.

Directed by Brian Fee, "Cars 3" will race into U.S. theaters on June 16.
