Pink Floyd frontman previews new album with Radiohead producer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters has given a sneak peak of new music - his first new material in 25 years, Gigwise reveals.

Waters took to Instagram and Twitter to offer fans a glimpse behind the studio door, where we see him laying down a bass groove on a new track. Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich - who Waters previously confirmed he was working with - can also be seen in the clip, along with a photo of the two captioned "back to work".

News of Godrich's involvement in the project broke back in October. Waters met the producer in 2015 when he worked on the Pink Floyd singer's tour of classic album The Wall, which took place from 2010 to 2013.

Waters previously claimed they have "some really good work in the can".

The new record will be Waters' first full-length since 1992's Amused to Death, after which only three singles have been released - though he has kept himself busy, concentrating solely on touring. Waters' tour of The Wall Live spanned four years and remains the highest-grossing tour of a solo artist.

Meanwhile, Waters' Pink Floyd collaborator David Gilmour has concentrated more on studio recordings, and released his fourth solo record Rattle That Lock in 2015.
