Mustached Johnny Depp is seen in the images protecting himself from rain, with one of crew members holding an umbrella for him. The 53-year-old actor wears sand-colored jacket, sky blue jeans, socks and sandals in the cold weather of L.A. "LAbyrinth" is based on journalist Randall Sullivan's book of the same name. Depp will appear in the Open Road Films crime drama as a disgraced LAPD detective Russell Poole, who is unable to crack his most important case, the murders of infamous rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. The case remains open even after two decades. Enters Jackson (played by Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) who later meets Poole and teams up with him to put the case to rest. "LAbyrinth" is set to be released in mid-November. Another upcoming crime drama Depp will star in is "Murder on the Orient Express", which is based on Agatha Christie's novel. The movie is also currently filming. Depp appeared as Gellert Grindelwald in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and Mad Hatter in "Alice Through the Looking Glass" last year. He also portrayed Donald Trump in "Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie", a satire based on best-selling business book by the U.S. President-elect.
