First look at resurrected Jerome in “Gotham” season 3B promo (video) January 16, 2017 - 15:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A promo for the midseason premiere of "Gotham" titled "Ghosts" has been released. The video features a first look at the resurrected version of Jerome Valeska (Cameron Monaghan), AceShowbiz said. In the video, Jerome appears with staples running across his forehead and circles around his eyes. But why staples instead of stitches? The look is apparently based on DC's New 52 comic book. As Joker allows Dollmaker to cut off his face, he then wears his decomposing face as a mask while securing it to his melon with staples. Jerome was killed by Theo Galavan after he murdered a police commissioner during the "Rise of the Villains" episode in season 2. Jerome then was brought back from the death as he became one of Hugo Strange (BD Wong) and Victor Fries' (Nathan Darrow) test subjects. At the end of season 2, a bus containing all of the subjects was damaged and all of the resurrected monsters, including Jerome, were released. Series executive producer John Stephens has previously teased new details about what fans could expect to see from Jerome in third season. "It's the same Jerome, but altered," he said during an interview. "Someone who has basically gone through death and come back to life has a very different point of view." He added, "He also has a grander point of view. It's odd to say he's more psychotic than he was before." The twelfth episode of "Gotham" season 3 airs on Monday, January 16 at 8 P.M. ET on FOX.
