The Weeknd's “Starboy” stays at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Weeknd's "Starboy" holds for a third straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and overall collects a fourth week atop the list. The album earned 61,000 equivalent album units in the week ending January 19, AceShowbiz reports citing Nielsen Music. The bulk of those units were powered by streams of the songs from the album as it earned 38,000 streaming equivalent album units. Meanwhile, the rest of the album's overall units were generated by track equivalent album units (10,000) and traditional album sales (13,000 copies sold).

At No. 2 on this week's chart is The xx's third studio album "I See You". The London-based alternative trio scores its highest charting album ever on the chart as the set earned 46,000 equivalent album units, including 36,000 in traditional album sales. The album's traditional sales enables the title to debut atop the Billboard's Top Album Sales chart.

The soundtracks of "La La Land" and "Moana" slip one rung to No. 3 and No. 4 with 42,000 units and 34,000 units respectively. Meanwhile, Bruno Mars' "24K Magic" rounds out the new top 5 with 33,000 units.

The original Broadway cast recording of "Hamilton" and Post Malone's "Stoney" hold steady at No. 6 and No. 9 with 28,000 units and 25,000 units respectively. Meanwhile, J. Cole's "4 Your Eyez Only" slips two slots to No. 7 with a little more than 27,000 units, and Drake's "Views" descends one spot to No. 8 with 27,000 units.

The "Trolls" soundtrack climbs four slots to No. 10 with 23,000 units. The set had a big gain in traditional album sales, thanks to sale price in the iTunes Store during the tracking period.
