PanARMENIAN.Net - Following the release of their latest single "Paris", The Chainsmokers' schedule doesn't seem to slow down. The DJ duo took to Twitter on Monday, January 30 to announce their first full-length album and their upcoming tour "Memories: Do Not Open", AceShowbiz said.
The Chainsmokers shared the good news by posting a picture of their upcoming tour's poster which shows the schedule for their 40-date concert. The DJs seemed excited as they wrote, "NEW TOUR + NEW ALBUM + NEW PRODUCTION = OUR MOST AMAZING SHOW EVER - TICKETS ARE GONNA FLY, PRESALE 3PM ET / 12PM PT THECHAINSMOKERS.COM."
Only a week before the announcement, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin had spilled the beans about The Chainsmokers' new album. On Sunday, January 22, Martin tweeted on Coldplay's official Twitter account, "Excited for @thechainsmokers' album; I've heard some songs and I love them. cm."
Last September, The Chainsmokers' members Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall opened up about releasing a potential album. They said that they were asked about full-length album every single time they had interview. The duo then stated that they would release "a potential album" but it would be "up to their fans if they want one."
The Chainsmokers will kick off their "Memories: Do not Open" tour in Miami at the American Airlines Arena on April 13. Tickets for their upcoming tour will go on sale on February 3 via Ticketmaster and every ticket purchased online includes a copy of the duo's forthcoming album.
