PanARMENIAN.Net - After teased with a picture, the Super Bowl ad for "Stranger Things" season 2 is debuted during the live broadcast of the big game. The approximately 30-second teaser opens with a scene of what looks like an old school ad for waffle, before it offers quick look at some new scenes in the upcoming season, AceShowbiz said.

Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), dressing as Ghostbusters, are seen riding their bikes. In another scene, something in the distance appears to catch Dustin's attention.

The video also teases some strange happenings, including a man getting hit by something so hard and what looks like an extra-terrestrial creature appearing on the sky which turns red. A man wearing a hazmat suit and a boy, who looks like Will (Noah Schnapp), looking frustrated also hint at imminent danger.

The video is accompanied with a caption which reads, "A year after Will's return, everything seems back to normal... but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins."

Series co-creator Matt Duffer tells EW, "In season 1, Will is in danger. And season 2, it's the town. The stakes escalate in that way."

The new season of the sci-fi series is expected to arrive this year on Netflix.
