Rouhani, Putin to discuss Karabakh conflict in March

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iranian president Hassan Rouhani is planning to pay a visit to Moscow, during which he will discuss the Nagorno Karabakh conflict with Russian president Vladimir Putin, Russia’s ambassador to the Islamic Republic Levan Dzhagaryan said.

“Rouhani’s visit [to Russia] is expected to take place in late March," Dzhagaryan was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

“During talks, the sides will discuss the main aspects of bilateral relations concerning political and trade and economic sectors. Besides, special attention will be paid to the most urgent issues on the regional agenda, such as the situation in Afghanistan, the Caspian problem, and the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.”

According to the ambassador, a number of documents will be signed.
