Armenia's humanitarian aid reaches Syrian Latakia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The humanitarian aid delivered from Armenia has been transported to the city of Latakia, the Armenian foreign ministry said Thursday, February 16.

The packages are comprised of essential supplies, including food and clothing, and will be distributed among the Armenian community and the Syrian people of Latakia, Damascus, Kessab and Aleppo.

Defense minister Vigen Sargsyan said Tuesday that 40 tons of humanitarian aid have been sent to Syria. This is the second time Armenia, cooperating with Russia, organizes the shipment of aid to the war-torn country.
