1st look at Charlize Theron in "Atomic Blonde" spy thriller posterFebruary 24, 2017 - 11:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Charlize Theron has taken to her Twitter account to share a new poster of her spy thriller "Atomic Blonde". The movie will debut at the SXSW Film Festival on March 12 before it hits U.S. theaters this summer, AceShowbiz said. Theron is featured with blond hair and sunglasses in the poster. She holds a gun and looks deadly in a long coat and the black suit underneath. She also wears knee-length black leather boots. Her appearance fits her character in the movie, in which she plays lethal assassin Lorraine Broughton. "Atomic Blonde", which is based on Antony Johnston's graphic novel "The Coldest City", is mainly set on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall. It follows MI6 top-level spy Lorraine Broughton and her mission to take down a brutal espionage ring in Berlin. Broughton teams up with Berlin station chief David Percival (portrayed by James McAvoy) for the purpose. The movie is directed by David Leitch, who also co-directed "John Wick" and will helm the upcoming "Deadpool 2". Theron is producing the movie along with A.J. Dix, Eric Gitter, Beth Kono, Kelly McCormick and Peter Schwerin. The film is distributed by Focus Features and will be released in the U.S. on July 28. Also staring in "Atomic Blonde" are Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella and John Goodman.
