Levon Aronian down to 9th spot on FIDE ranking

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian has dived to the 9th position against last month’s 7th in FIDE’s Top 100 Players March 2017 list.

Leading the rankings is Norwegian genius Magnus Carlsen who has been topping the list for several years now.

Following Carlsen are Wesley So (U.S.), Fabiano Caruana (U.S.) Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France), Hikaru Nakamura, Viswanathan Anand (India), Sergey Karjakin (Russia,) Aronian, and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan).
