Brad Pitt as a cocky general in Netflix's “War Machine” teaser (video) March 2, 2017 - 12:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Netflix has dropped a slew of teasers for their upcoming projects including a movie called "War Machine", AceShowbiz said. It gives a first sneak peek at Brad Pitt as a general appointed to lead the U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan. "Our hope is that you're the man who will get the job done," his superior says. The film is described as part reality, part savage parody as it tells the general's roller coaster rise and fall. Pitt plays a successful, charismatic four-star general who leapt in like a rock star to command NATO forces in Afghanistan, only to be taken down by a journalist's no-holds-barred expose. It's based on bestselling book "The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan" by late American journalist Michael Hastings. It's supported by Tilda Swinton, Sir Ben Kingsley, Anthony Michael Hall, Topher Grace, Will Poulter and more. It premieres on Netflix May 26.
