Karabakh frontline relatively calm overnight

PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation along the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijan was relatively calm on March 3 and the night through March 4.

More than 40 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered in the reporting period.

Azeri forces, in particular, used various caliber firearms to fire some 380 shots.

Violations were especially intense in the eastern section of the contact line, where Azeri units employed 60-mm mortars and D-44 divisional guns.

The Karabakh Defense Army forces continue controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions.
