HBO's new “GOT” in production teaser features Oathkeeper

PanARMENIAN.Net - Until recently, fans are waiting for something official for a sneak-peek at HBO's hit "Game of Thrones" season 7, after unofficial set photos previously surfaced online. The wait is over as HBO has unearthed new "In Production Now" teaser, featuring the Oathkeeper, AceShowbiz said.

The video, which was uploaded by a fan on Twitter on Saturday, March 4, aired on the network during one of its promotional segments. The 12-second video features a mysterious hand holding the Oarthkeeper sword. Oathkeeper is one of two Valyrian steel longswords made from Ice, the greatsword of House Stark, under orders of Lord Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance). It is initially given to Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) before he hands it to Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) for her task of rescuing Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) in season 4.

Fans speculate that the hand featured in the video does not belong to someone we know from one of the characters. It doesn't look like either the hand of Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) or Brienne. Since it is an in production video, the hand holding the sword may belong to a prop guy. However, it may also belong to Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham), as the hand in question has all of its fingers joints intact.

It's quite interesting for HBO to release a new "In Production" teaser now, as the filming for seventh season of "Game of Thrones" has reportedly wrapped up. Either way, the newly-released brief tease gives fans a new hope that an official teaser is on its way online very soon.
