Armenian athlete to participate in Russian Challenge 3 Muay Thai event

PanARMENIAN.Net - An athlete of the Armenian Muay Thai Federation, European Champion Gor Nazaryan will participate in the Russian Challenge 3 tournament on March 19, the federation told PanARMENIAN.Net

Nazaryan and Armen Grigoryan on March 4 competed in a Moscow-hosted professional event, snatching a gold medal each. The Armenian athletes also secured qualification to take part in future competitions.

This is the first time in the history of Muay Thai for an Armenian athlete to enter such a tournament.

Nazaryan will fight in the 57kg weight category against Russia’s Umedjon Ergashev.
