“GOT” unveils season 7 poster, actor reviews Bran as Three-Eyed Raven

PanARMENIAN.Net - After revealing a glimpse of "Game of Thrones" season 7 in "In Production Now" teaser, HBO has now released the first teaser poster for the upcoming season. The official artwork, which is used to promote the series at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, teases a battle between fire and ice, AceShowbiz said.

While plot details have been kept under wraps, we know that a clash between Dany with her dragons and the Night King's army is inevitable. The previously released sneak peek also hinted at the same storyline as it featured the Oathkeeper, one of two swords made of Valyrian steel that can kill the White Walkers.

Meanwhile, Isaac Hempstead-Wright has talked about what is next for his character Bran after he lost Hodor, Summer and Three-Eyed Raven. "Bran is in the same position he's in, which is kind of like, 'What am I gonna do? What's gonna happen?' Is he gonna tell Jon? Is he gonna find anyone? Is he even going to make it past the Wall?' " he said when met at the "Game of Thrones" Live Concert Experience on Tuesday night, March 7. "He's only with Meera now, and he’s out in the middle of nowhere, so it's not looking great."

On what becoming the new Three-Eyed Raven means for Bran, the actor dished, "... what Bran is thinking of above anything else is this sense of responsibility and purpose and not just being a kid anymore and doing whatever he wants to do. Bran has certainly understood that this is out of his control now. He's a piece on the chessboard that has to make a move, and he hasn't got any moves."

In other news, the Azure Window, the iconic rock arch that was featured in Daenerys and Khal Drogo's wedding scene on the show, has collapsed. The famous rock structure fell into Malta sea on Wednesday after being hit by seas during a harsh storm.

According to Geologist Peter Gatt, the collapse was due to years of erosion by both under- and over-ground sea swells. The window also served as backdrops in other films, such as 1981's "Clash of the Titans", and was a popular tourist attraction on the island of Gozo.

"Game of Thrones" is expected to air in summer, but a premiere date isn't announced yet.
