Police received 540 election violation reports during and after elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - 540 reports on alleged electoral violations were registered by the Armenian police as of 9:00 am Tuesday, April 4, the police said.

Filing a criminal case over six reports was rejected, 133 are under preliminary investigation, 106 were declared ungrounded, three were sent to the military police, 155 are in the material preparation phase, 137 are being reviewed with more information to follow later on.

Based on results calculated in all the 2009 polling stations, the Republican party leads with 49.12% of votes (771 247 ballots), followed by the Tsarukyan bloc with 27.32% (428 965), YELQ with 7.77% (122 049) and the ARF Dashnaktsutyun with 6.57% (103 173). Voter turnout stood at 60.86% on Sunday, April 2.
