DiCaprio, Scorsese and De Niro eye “Killers of the Flower Moon”

PanARMENIAN.Net - After working together in "Gangs of New York", "The Aviator", "Shutter Island", "The Departed" and "The Wolf of Wall Street", not to mention their current project "The Devil in the White City", Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese may reunite again in feature film adaptation of David Grann's book "Killers of the Flower Moon". As AceShowbiz reports citing Deadline, both may also team up with Robert De Niro. Imperative partners Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas are on board to executive produce.

Grann's "Killers of the Flower Moon" was snagged for $5 million by Imperative Entertainment last year. The novel follows the true crime story about the murders of Osage Indian tribe in Oklahoma, which occur after they find oil on their land. Conspiracy, greed and murder turn very bad in the Indian nation that FBI have to try to investigate it. The investigation is led by J. Edgar Hoover, the first director of FBI of the U.S.

Scorsese and DiCaprio are currently developing the adaptation of Eric Larson's acclaimed book "The Devil in the White City". DiCaprio, who won an Oscar for his performance in "The Revenant", will next be seen in "The Ballad of Richard Jewell" and "The Black Hand".

De Niro, meanwhile, has teamed up with Scorsese in "Goodfellas", "Casino", "Raging Bull", "Taxi Driver" and "The King of Comedy". He will next reunite with the director in crime movie "The Irishman", in which he will star opposite Al Pacino.
