New "Transformers 5" clip features Mark Wahlberg, Anthony HopkinsMay 8, 2017 - 13:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "Transformers" star Mark Wahlberg debuted a new clip from "Transformers: The Last Knight" at 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, May 7. The clip highlights the movie's protagonists, including Wahlberg's Cade Yeager and Anthony Hopkins' Edmund Burton, AceShowbiz said. Besides seeing the first meeting of Cade and Burton, the clip offers a look at Burton's sidekick Cogman, an autobot which was previously described as a "centuries-old man servant who happens to have anger issues, among other things." Also shown in the clip are Hot Rod and Burton's daughter Vivian Wembley (Laura Haddock), who is also an Oxford Professor. Hot Rod is an autobot which secretly becomes Vivian's protector by disguising himself as 1963 Citroen DS owned by her father. Vivian doesn't act very friendly towards the robot, though. Recently, a speculation about Optimus Prime surfaced as a standee at Toys'R'Us showed that he might get a new body in "Transformers 5". Some parts of Optimus' new body really resemble those of Bumblebee, sparking speculation that Optimus will somehow merge Bumblebee's body into his. Whether the theory is true remains to be seen. "The Last Knight" shatters the core myths of the "Transformers" franchise and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager, Bumblebee, an English Lord, and an Oxford Professor. "Transformers: The Last Knight" is set to hit U.S. theaters on June 21. Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
