"Wind River" new trailer features Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Weinsten Company has released a new trailer for "Wind River", AceShowbiz said. Making its way out online via USA Today, the trailer features Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen as Cory Lambert, a game tracker, and Jane Banner, a rookie FBI agent, who brave the cold in search of a murderer in the frigid mountains of Wyoming.

The nearly-two-minute video opens with Lambert discovering the body of a girl in the titular local Native American reservation. After Banner is called to investigate, the duo team up to hunt down the girl's killer. Their pursuit unearths ominous secrets harbored by the locals which appear to come to light along the pair's intense journey.

"Wind River" is Oscar-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan's directorial debut. Sheridan, who previously penned the screenplays for "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water", also provided the script for the thriller flick that premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on August 4.

Rated R, the upcoming movie follows Lambert who discovers a body in the rugged wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. The FBI sends in rookie agent Jane Banner, but she's unprepared for the difficulties created by the oppressive weather and isolation of the Wyoming winter. When she employs Cory as a tracker, the two venture deep into a world ravaged by violence and the elements.

Also starring alongside Renner and Olsen is Gil Birmingham, best known for his portrayal of Billy Black in the "Twilight Saga" film series, and "Daredevil" star Jon Bernthal. Other supporting cast members include Julia Jones, Kelsey Chow, Graham Greene, Martin Sensmeier and more.
