Iran urges global fight against extremism and terrorism

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran’s top envoy to the United Nations on Thursday, September 7 criticized the ever-growing extremism and terrorism in the Middle East region and urged world nations to combat the evil, IRNA reports.

“The Middle East region has turned into an exhibition of modern and deadly weapons,” said Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to UN Gholamali Khoshroo while addressing a High Level Forum on the Culture of Peace held at the UN Headquarters.

He said, “Iran, as the main proponent of the idea of 'World against Violence and Extremism', once again invites all peace-loving nations to close ranks for the cause of peace.”
