Dov Lynch: Kosovo can set precedent for conflicts like in Nagorno Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Despite the difference between the Kosovo and Nagorno Karabakh conflicts, independence of Kosovo can set a precedent for conflicts like in Nagrono Karabakh, Dov Lynch OSCE Secretariat Senior Adviser, said when addressing Rose-Roth NATO seminar in Baku.

"The conflict should be resolved peacefully, since resumption of the hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh will result in new bloodshed," he said.

For his part, Markus Meckel, Chairman of the NATO PA Political Committee, said that resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is important for Azerbaijan's democratic and economic development, Azeri Press Agency reports.
