PanARMENIAN.Net - "Game of Thrones"’ final series may not air until next year but one fan believes the fate of Jon Snow has already been revealed, Express reports.
The King in the North is preparing to go to war with the Night King (played by Vladimir Furdik) and his army of the dead in season eight of "Game of Thrones" and it’s unknown whether he will survive.
But one fan of the hit HBO series has suggested that he will survive because of a tiny detail in the very first run.
In the first ever episode of "Game of Thrones", Jon Snow (Kit Harington) told his uncle Benjen Stark (Joseph Mawle) that he wanted to leave Winterfell and join the Night’s Watch.
Benjen insisted that he was making a bad decision and tried to convince him not to take the black.
Now, Reddit user bgrutherford99 has mused that Benjen knew Jon’s true parentage and that he was destined to take the Iron Throne.
“As Benjen was explaining to him that the brothers of the Night’s Watch couldn’t father any children, and Jon stated that he didn’t care, Benjen replied with ‘You might, if you knew what it meant’,” they wrote.
“Do you guys think Benjen was just speaking of fatherhood, or was he dropping a hint that he knew about Jon’s parentage, and that Jon’s child would be heir to the Iron Throne?”
The speculation ties in neatly with another theory which claims that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) will find out she is pregnant with Jon’s child after their night of passion in the series seven finale and will go on to rule Westeros alone.
The theory goes: “Daenerys finds out she’s pregnant.
“Bran [Stark, Isaac Hempstead Wright] and Sam [Tarly, John Bradley] decide to keep Jon’s parentage a secret after Dany and Jon declare they are getting married, or at least tell Jon who doesn’t have a chance to tell Dany before the end.
“Bittersweet ending it that Dany gives birth to a child, maybe even twins, but dies in childbirth or shortly after.
“Jon becomes King of the Seven Kingdoms but loses another love of his life and raises his children/child.”
The theory goes on to add that Daenerys will lose her two remaining dragons in the fight against the Night King.
However, in the final moments of the season eight finale it will be revealed that they laid eggs before the last battle.
