PanARMENIAN.Net - At the Berlin-hosted Candidates Tournament, Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian lost the round 2 match to Vladimir Kramnik of Russia on Monday, March 12.

All the other matches of round 3 ended in draws.

In the fourth round, Aronian will face Sergey Karjakin of Russia on Wednesday.

The winner of the 8-player event will be the challenger of Magnus Carlsen at the World Chess Championship 2018.
