Putin congratulates Pashinyan on Armenia election win

PanARMENIAN.Net - A meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan started in Moscow on Thursday, December 27.

During the meeting, Putin congratulated Pashinyan on victory of My Step party in the elections to the Armenian parliament and wished good luck in the implementation of plans.

Putin also said that the dynamics in relations with Armenia should be maintained, including in the security sector, through the CSTO and other integration processes.

Pashinyan, in turn, confirmed his readiness to develop relations with Russia in all directions, stressing that Armenia is positively oriented towards integration within the Eurasian Economic Community.

Also, the head of the Armenian government invited the Russian leader to travel to Yerevan with an official visit in 2019.
