Armenian, Azerbaijani foreign policy chiefs' meeting in process

PanARMENIAN.Net - A meeting of acting Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov has started in Paris, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said in a tweet on Wednesday, January 16.

The meeting is mediated by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Mnatsakanyan and Mammadyarov last met on December 5, 2018 and had a “had a useful exchange of views.”

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said after the meeting the he reached a mutual understanding with his Armenian counterpart during negotiations on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement in Milan.
