Yerevan Chief architect teases key improvements in transport system

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief architect of the Armenian capital of Yerevan Arthur Meschian has summed up the first 100 days after he took office.

Meschian revealed that two new metro stations will be built in Yerevan to connect the northern district of Ajapnyak to the city center and other districts.

Furthermore, a cable car will be built to connect the center to Nor Nork district.

The aerial tram project, he said, will be completed in a shorter period of time as it is significantly cheaper than the construction of new subway stations.
