Armenia PM invited Tim Cook to World IT Forum in Yerevan![]() January 28, 2019 - 17:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has invited Apple CEO Tim Cook to participate in the World Forum of Information Technologies set to be held in Yerevan in October 2019, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister Arsen Gasparyan said in an interview with RFE/RL Armenian Service. According to Gasparyan, Pashinyan and Cook discussed the preparations for the Forum. Also, Gasparyan said, the Prime Minister suggested looking into the ways of how the Cupertino company could work with Armenia. As reported earlier, Cook was pictured speaking to Pashinyan when he made his first trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Gasparyan confirmed the meeting in a Facebook post: “What a great start at the World Economic Forum in Davos, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind this morning.” As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners. The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said. Partner news |
