Head of Armenian demining center will travel to DamascusFebruary 12, 2019 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Demining and Utilization, Director of the Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise Ruben Arakelyan will visit the Armenian experts who are currently on a humanitarian mission in Aleppo. A group of Armenian humanitarian demining experts, medical personnel and specialists ensuring the safety of the entire group - a total of 83 people - traveled to Aleppo, Syria on February 8 to provide humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people. According to information posted on the Center’s website, Arakelyan will leave for Damascus on Tuesday, February 12. During the four-day visit, Arakelyan will meet representatives of local and international agencies involved in demining efforts to make the cooperation more efficient.
