Active coronavirus cases in Armenia down below 10,000

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of active Covid-19 cases in Armenia has dropped below 10,000 for the first time since June 12. Confirmed cases in the country grew by 451 to reach 36,613 on Friday, July 24 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 490 more people have recovered, four patients have died from Covid-19, while one person carrying the virus has died of other causes in the past 24 hours.

153,814 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 25,734 people have recovered, 692 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 218 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
