Armenia airport unveils list of laboratories for coronavirus tests

PanARMENIAN.Net - Zvartnots airport in Armenia has unveiled the list of laboratories that should be contacted by new arrivals for coronavirus tests.

Armenia on August 12 decided to open the country’s borders to non-citizens, despite extending the state of emergency for the last time until September 11.

Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan said that those who are not hospitalized immediately after entering the country, will be told to self-isolate for 14 days, while those who test negative for the virus will be free to leave self-quarantine.

Zvartnots said Monday, August 17 that people arriving in the country from abroad should be tested at either of the following hospitals and medical centers: Astghik Medical Center, Armenikum branch of Prom-Test LLC, Davidyants laboratories, Ecosense LLC, Normed Medical Center, Sirmed LLC and the AB Med diagnostic laboratory.

Airport authorities also said that people must wait for the medical personnel to visit their homes and places of self-isolation and should by no means visit the medical facilities themselves.
