Azerbaijan's Smerch cluster bombs leave civilian killed in Martuni

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military fired Smerch cluster bombs on the Red Market community of Martuni province on Thursday, October 15, killing one civilian, the emergency service of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) reports.

The attack is the most recent violation of the humanitarian ceasefire which was supposed to enter into force on October 10.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
