Karabakh reports local battles in the north and the south

PanARMENIAN.Net - Local battles are currently taking place in the northern and southern directions of the front line, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army reported Wednesday, October 21 morning.

The Karabakh troops shot down an Azeri plane in the morning and now continue controlling the situation along the frontline.

The situation was relatively calm, but stable overnight, but the Azerbaijani forces target the town of Martakert and several villages at dawn.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.

Donations can be made to Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, which has launched a fundraising campaign to support humanitarian efforts in Karabakh.
