Azerbaijani prisoner of war says Turkish experts instructing Azeri army

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azerbaijani prisoner of war currently receiving treatment in a military hospital in Nagorno-Karabakh has disclosed some details about Turkish military experts instructing servicemen in Azerbaijan.

According to the prisoner of war identified by the Artsakh (Karabakh) Infocenter as Emin Bakhshali Zahir oglu, three persons from Turkey had joined them for "conducting courses".

On a video published by the Infocenter, the Azeri soldier said that their military uniforms and the way they talked were evidence of the fact that the three were from Turkey.

"The courses mainly proceeded according to their plan and lasted 10-15 days. Even now they are stationed in our command posts, and our commanders make no decisions without their instructions," he said.

According to him, the medical personnel are changing the bandage on his wound every day.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
