Armenian, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meeting in Geneva

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan’s meeting with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov commenced in Geneva, with mediation and participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said Friday, October 30.

Mnatsakanyan earlier met the co-chairs to discuss the Karabakh conflict and the introduction of ceasefire monitoring mechanism in the conflict zone.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
