Armenia denies Azerbaijan's claims of firing towards Fizuli

PanARMENIAN.Net - The statement of the Azerbaijani side that the Armenian Armed Forces have launched attacks on the city of Fizuli and surrounding villages using a Smerch systems is absurd, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan said Tuesday, November 3.

"No fire of any kind has been aimed in this direction from the territory of Armenia," Stepanyan added.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
