Erdogan admits military presence in Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Turkey is militarily "present" in Azerbaijan, just like in Libya and Syria.

According to a video posted by Turkish journalist and researcher Abdullah Bozkurt, Erdogan said: "We are present [militarily] in Syria and Libya. Now we are also present in Azerbaijan."

"I talked to my brother [Azeri President] Ilham Aliyev this morning. I learned about the current developments personally from him. Thank God. I was happy when I heard about the positive developments from him. God willing, we are approaching victory [in Nagorno-Karabakh]," Erdogan said on November 7.

In the war against Artsakh (Karabakh), Turkey is supporting Azerbaijan militarily, also by transferring terrorist mercenaries from Libya and Syria to fight against Karabakh. Armenia was the first to report on Turkey's deployment of thousands of Syrian fighters to Azerbaijan. International media publications followed suit, as did reactions from France, Russia, Iran and Syria. The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army has already unveiled footage of the interrogation of two such terrorists captured on the front.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
