Armenia names Anahit Avanesyan as new Health Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Armen Sarkissian on Monday, January 18 appointed Deputy Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan in the post of the Minister of Health.

The move comes after Minister Arsen Torosyan resigned from the post. He will replace Eduard Aghajanyan in the post of the government chief of staff.

Torosyan was appointed in the post of Health Minister almost three years ago, following the "velvet revolution" of April-May 2018.
