Bill Gates receives first coronavirus vaccine shot

PanARMENIAN.Net - Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on Friday, January 22 shared a picture of himself receiving his first coronavirus vaccine shot and said he feels great.

"One of the benefits of being 65 is that I’m eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine. I got my first dose this week, and I feel great. Thank you to all of the scientists, trial participants, regulators, and frontline healthcare workers who got us to this point," Gates tweeted.

The billionaire funds medical research and vaccine programs through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and has often spoken out about his belief in the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine. Despite that, he has been in the center of a conspiracy theory which claims that the pandemic is a cover for a plan to implant trackable microchips and that Gates is behind it.
